The past couple of weeks I have avoided Facebooking, and I’ve also avoided my cell phone. They are only added stress in an already stressful world. Such a feeling of freedom to ditch them! I’ve found that too much technology interferes with our relationship with God—and with people. Let’s ditch too much technology and stand face-to-face with God and with others. We can’t obey His command to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind and love our neighbor as ourself if we’re ignoring them.
