Mercy and Grace

It has been said: “Mercy is not getting what you deserve” and “Grace is getting what you do not deserve.” May we be merciful to others and give out grace freely. When we do not give to others the grace that God has given to us, when we don’t show the mercy to them that God showed to us, aren’t we in a sense saying that we’re more powerful than God and better than Him?
