We Live In Gotham

I’m a Batman fan (go ahead, call me a nerd!), and so I watched the premiere of the new t.v. show “Gotham.” After I watched it I kept thinking, “Wow…darkness…violence…blood.” I then realized: “Hey, that is the world we live in! We live in Gotham!” And look at the darkness, violence and blood of our Savior’s passion. It seems we have always been a world of darkness, violence and blood. Will it ever change? No, not until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. Until then we must be the light in the darkness, the peace in the violence and the healing in the blood. We must make this world a better place in which to live.
