I wore my black Keds to church this morning along with my black jeans and black and white shirt. I’m not one with expensive, fancy, rhinestone-studded sandals and pedicured, painted toenails. My skinny feet and ankles and ballet-ruined toes will not tolerate those fancy sandals and high-heeled shoes (not to mention that my budget won’t tolerate them either!). But, hey—God doesn’t care if we come to church bedecked in jewels and expensive clothes and shoes. God only cares about how our hearts look when we enter the sanctuary. My heart is totally in love with Jesus from the top of my head to the toes of my Keds!
Pr 30:7 “Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die:
Pr 30:8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.
Pr 30:9 Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
