I have a necklace I wear every day. So many people have commented on its’ beauty, and yet it’s a cheap, pewter charm on a cheap, black cord. It’s my “Passion of the Christ” cross which has the cross one one side and Isaiah 53:5 on the other. I love my cheap, pewter necklace because it represents my Jesus and the price He paid for me. It represents the movie trailer that brought me into a fullblown relationship with Christ. To me, this little, pewter necklace is simple. Just as Jesus came into the world as a baby in a feeding trough in a stable, with straw as His royal mattress— such a simple setting and yet angels sang and a star shone to guide lowly shepherds to the stable. A simple necklace for a wonderful Savior….

I love this story about your necklace. I remember when you saw the movie and what you told me about how deeply it touched your heart and soul 🙂
