Shine That Light!!!

On page 101 of the “Gideon” Bible study, the 2 questions in the middle of the page led me to finally comprehend Matthew 5:16 which has always puzzled me (“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” ). For years I have wondered how to let my light shine for Him in this way without it appearing that I was tooting my own horn. Now I know: When we use our gifts for Him—when we are doing His work, we are to do it in such a way that our shining light shows the way to Jesus! As we do His work, their hearts should be illuminated to seeing His glory and and thereby giving Him praise! /!!!
