Since resigning as Medical Records Director, I’m realizing that it’s a good thing in so many ways. It was something I struggled with, and was able to do so when I humbled myself and stepped down. It’s teaching me humility which, as a child of God, is very, very important. I’ve also discovered that it’s not good to do or be something for a long period of time, because it becomes a part of who you are—-there comes a time when we need to step back, let go and remind ourselves—-that title, that person isn’t truly me. I am a child of God—and that is all that’s important. That is all that matters.
